High humidity improves fan performance
The article discusses how high humidity affects the performance of exhaust fans, but not in the way you might think and not as much as you might think. In reality, and contrary to popular belief, humid air weighs less than dry air.
A water molecule weighs 36% less than nitrogen and 44% less than oxygen, so if the water displaces these two elements, the air becomes lighter.
A fan moves the same amount of air regardless of its density, but this does affect the fan’s energy use, so if we go from 20% relative humidity to 90%, the energy used decreases 1%.
As for the air temperature, it does not affect the capacity of the fan, but again, by affecting its density, it will affect the use of energy.
With all this it is concluded that more than high relative humidity, air density, etc. What you have to worry about is the maintenance, maintenance of the extractors themselves and maintenance, cleaning and, where appropriate, replacement of the cooling panels. This is what will ensure that the environmental conditions and the efficiency of the installation are optimized.

Control y Ventilacion, S.L. is a company of international renown within the industrial and livestock sector, for being a manufacturer of products within the evaporative cooling sector, such as the HUMIBAT, evaporative plastic cooler; or its NUCLEOS towers, Cooling Towers. In both products, the substrate in which the evaporative process is produced is a plastic honeycomb, a honeycomb resistant both to physical and chemical attacks, and at the same time flexible, a honeycomb with a mesh structure, made of polyethylene High Density, and marketed under the names of PANAL C & V or in the case of being a drop separator, SEPARADOR C & V .
