Of all it is known that the working conditions of a cooling tower can create an environment in which legionella proliferates.
It is of vital importance to avoid its proliferation having a good High Efficiency Droplet Separator that avoids the escape of droplets into the atmosphere, and that it remains in perfect conditions.
For this, Control y Ventilación, S.L., counts among the various products it manufactures, with the SEPARADOR C&V, High Efficiency separator certified by the Miguel Hernández University, specialized in this type of studies, which concludes that the water carried by the SEPARADOR C&V equals to 0.00623% of the circulating water of a cooling tower, which is about 8 times below the maximum allowed by law, which is 0.05% (RD 865/2003).

Thermal Efficiency
The use of the grid in its construction allows to present a double contact surface, developing a total liquid / air nominal interface, which allows a greater thermal efficiency.
Aerodynamic profile
The configuration of the combs in straight conduits facilitates the passage of air, with the consequent low loss of load.
Mechanical Stability
The specific resistance of the high density polyethylene grid, as a building raw material, together with the rigidity effect of the welding duct, makes the honeycomb have a total mechanical stability up to 75ºC.
Resistance to the Environment
High density polyethylene is one of the most resistant plastic materials to chemical attack.
Ease of Installation
The combs are light and flexible, and can be easily introduced into the enclosures to be filled. They are cut-out on site and can be adapted to the details of any space.
Minimum maintenance
The simple irrigation with water under pressure is often sufficient for the elimination of impurities. In more extreme conditions, the honeycomb resists the application of descaling agents without any alteration.
